BUTCH COUSINS - As a drummer, he is a singer's dream. Butch was in Austin, Texas in 1979. He is originally from Takoma, Washington. He and Chris Porter ran into Abner and Paul Burnett at Barton Springs. They formed the Burners. Newel Briggs joined the band. In December 1979 they climbed into Chris Porter's van and headed for Eugene, Oregon. Butch lives in california these days and plays drums with Terry Hanck's band. Butch and Abner wrote You Love Me Baby, and I Don't Blame You.
